How to Choose Smart Home Accessories

Accessories extend what your smart devices can do. Check compatibility first: RF remotes must match the frequency and protocol of the receiver, sensors and cables must match the controller model, and covers or enclosures must fit the device exactly. Then think about where the accessory will be used, indoors, outdoors or in a distribution board, and choose the version that suits that environment.

Care and Compatibility Tips

Keep remotes away from water and replace batteries when range decreases. Store spare accessories in dry places and label them by compatible device. When upgrading your main devices, check that existing accessories are still supported before replacing them.

Getting More from Your Smart Home

Small accessories often make the biggest difference in daily use. A remote on the bedside table, a scene button by the door or a waterproof case for an outdoor controller can turn a good installation into one that everyone in the household finds easy and reliable.

WeVolt stocks accessories alongside the main controllers they work with, so you can order a complete, compatible set in one go. If you are not sure which version you need, send us the model of your existing device and our team will confirm the right accessory.
